BIMA, the leading provider of mobile-delivered insurance and health services in emerging markets, has launched a new operation in Haiti. Haiti will be BIMA’s first Caribbean market launch, and the represents the latest step in the company’s rapid expansion.


BIMA will work in partnership with Tigo to roll out ‘Viv Assurance’, a simple, affordable life insurance product aimed at the needs of the underserved Haitian mass-market. Customers can pay for “Viv Assurance’ using their pre-paid airtime credit.
