BIMA has claimed another flagship industry award, taking home the title of ‘Best Mature Stage Start Up’ in the global Fintech Finals 2017. The award, created by Next Money and sponsored by Visa, saw 1000s of startups from around the world compete in regional heats, with the Top 24 proceeding onto Hong Kong to battle it out in the final round. Winners were judged on the strength of their business model, scale, disruptive potential or impact, customer experience and growth opportunity.
BIMA was named winner in the Best Mature Stage Start Up category in recognition of its transformative impact on insurance landscape in emerging markets and for creating a financial inclusion model that can scale and generate profits.
